Enneagram Books

The Road Back to You

Ian Morgan Cron and Suzanne Stabile created The Road Back to You, an easy to read and understand book about the Enneagram. This is a great primer for anyone interested and ready to learn more about the Enneagram. The best option for determining your Enneagram profile is self-study and personal observation rather than an online test (which can confuse the issue). Knowing my number has impacted me and my relationships significantly. I am grateful to these authors for their teaching.

The Path Between Us

In The Path Between Us, Suzanne Stabile guides us to better relational health through the Enneagram. A great follow-up book to The Road Back to You. Understanding ourselves and others through this tool helps us to interact, communicate, and live with people. The Enneagram helps us to see that our way of entering and relating in the world is only one way. This perspective fosters humility and increases grace. That has to be positive for our key relationships.

The Sacred Enneagram

Christopher Heuertz says the Enneagram offers a sacred map to the soul. This book is a way to go deeper into the Enneagram which will help you to understand the “why” behind your type. You will also be able to identify self-destructive patterns, work with your type toward spiritual growth, and awaken your unique gifts. If life transformation is important to you, this book will be a wonderful guide on your journey. The Sacred Enneagram is a book that I reference often and plan to re-read in it’s entirety.

The Enneagram: A Christian Perspective

Richard Rohr and Andrea Ebert's runaway best-seller shows both the basic logic of the Enneagram and its harmony with the core truths of Christian thought from the time of the early Church forward. [from Amazon description] This book is on my shelf and I have skimmed it, but not read it yet from cover to cover. Soon. And I will update this description when I do. The Enneagram: A Christian Perspective has a great reputation for Enneagram devotees.
