#25: Using Your Past Struggles to Relate with Others with Shelley

There is always a sense of relief when you have a friend or companion that has shared the same struggles as you and is able to relate with your feelings and emotions. There is comfort in knowing that you are not alone.  Today’s conversation is with one of the most loyal women I know, my dear friend Shelley. Shelley has been through a lot in her life, all of which has inspired her to be loving and compassionate towards others. Shelley is passionate about working with teen girls who have emotional and behavioral issues.  She uses her own personal, past experiences and struggles to help relate to others who may be feeling the same things that she once did. She also has a heart to help people with addiction, people struggling with mental health issues, as well as the homeless. Her empathy for others is truly inspiring. Check out this episode to learn more about Shelley and her story.
