Freeing you up to be with your people is a major objective of mine. I don’t want to add more noise to your already busy life. In fact, my deep desire is to help you to feel less alone and more on purpose in pursuing deep connection. There are many options available at The Commons. You can pick and choose what works for you in each season of your journey. Here are some ways to grow and learn - consider this your buffet of choices. Remember you are welcome here.
Hey there! I’m Karla, a relational and business coach.
Relationships are important. That’s me on the left and that handsome man with me is my husband Chad. We’ve been married over 25 years and have a beautiful teenage daughter, Sophia, who makes us less serious and much more hip (can you feel her eye roll at those words?). The three of us, plus our dog Zico live in Reno, Nevada where we love to share time (and food) with our people, take walks, sit by the fire, and watch West Wing on repeat.
For my entire life I have been drawn to observe women in relationships, learn from them, and often offer wisdom and encouragement leading to deeper connection. Whether in college, working in finance, then later in operations management and sales, or volunteering in my community, the common roles I have embraced and love all have to do with being a part of women learning and connecting.
Now I am thrilled to do more of the same via The Commons with Karla podcast and other tools to help women individually who can then share and impact their community in big ways. This is a safe place to laugh and cry, to learn and grow. May we all pursue deep connection and live full and free lives.
I’m glad you are here. I hope you’ll find inspiration, encouragement, and ideas to foster deeper connection with your people right where you live. Be well!
